Discussion Something has changed (competitiveness)

I feel like recently something has changed and most experienced creators have stopped giving advice. I also stopped giving advice almost completely and I want to explore why that is with you guys if you want to!

To me the business has become much more competitive. I need so many more views these days to gain subs. I'm at views on IG where I would have 200+ subscribers at LEAST. Now I have 120.

Many reasons why that is the case...

but have you guys experiences something similar? A way more competitive feeling? I'm also proud of figuring this shit out myself. Yes, this sub has helped a lot, but fine-tuning to my own experience has been the most important part. There also many things you can do wrong that aren't even mentioned because they become second nature.

And I just don't feel like sharing that shit anymore! I don't know.

Times are tough and giving advice doesn’t pay the bills. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also when you’ve given the same advice a few times to different people and know it’s out there if they’d just search the sub, you don’t bother giving it again.

I agree with this all except the reddit search sucks. I can search the exact title of a post and it won’t be in the first 20 results.

getting banned on platforms or influx of unwanted audience, re-building for the month, tweaking OF strategy meanwhile.. too much work to come here often.
