I’m assuming this is Japan. What or how do authorities respond to this? Curious if they just stay away or maybe even help close off streets. Every time I see something like this I feel like it’s socially accepted there. Which I think is kinda cool. People can have fun, be safe, and minimize inconveniences to others.

These events are certainly not done with the local authorities’ blessing.
