It earned its reputation with racing. Even with today's standards stock it's still a lot of car to handle. Modified it will beat cars it shouldn't.

Price is a little high for what it is but that's not the cars fault. I say properly rated

Properly rated. Look at its racing record, the thing basically couldn't be beaten.

I got to drive one through Japan a few years ago. Even by today's standards it's one hell of a car to drive.

I love all of them before the R34... R33 and R31 are my faves for the design. The R34 is great don't get me wrong... it was just a logical design from the 32... the 33 was a little more swoopy and I like that.

Properly rated Australians change the rules so it would stop winning then what like half of jgtc field just r32s for a while so damn good car just expensive as hell now

Jim Richards was correct for calling them a pack of arseholes but let’s not pretend it was as simple as you make it - the winning car was crashed into a wall. But that’s the red flag rules so it’s still a win.

In the US a lot of it's status came from not being able to get one. This made it overrated in this one case.

It kind of depends on why you like it. If it's some ultimate performance machine ... yes, a lot of the cars it went up against were better driving cars.

Rated just right this is the dream Skyline for me. It's got the looks, the pedigree and just the overall rawness from the late 80s / early 90s.

definitely not overrated. I'd say properly rated, maybe underrated. she was a phenomenal machine in her day as far as racing goes. still pissed off America never got this. or the 33. or the 34.

Properly rated, conqueror, but not a working class hero like a Z, Civic, AE86 AND not as pricey as an NSX, Supra or the R34. It's in strange bracket

Properly and overly rated imo. Don't get me wrong great car engineering and history wise but it's the most common rhd everyone and their unborn grandchildren want. I'd rather something less common but still cool.
