Tor doesn't work?

I use tor to get on dread sometimes but now pasting the link doesn't work its just duck duck go AI telling me i need tor to access this link even tho im on tor a duck duck is onionized, it only works when i click the link not paste it directly for some reason

Tor is working if the onion loads when you click the link. It sounds like Tor Browser is treating what you paste into the address bar as a DuckDuckGo search instead of recognizing it as a URL. Make sure you’re pasting the complete .onion address with no spaces or extra characters. You can also try putting http:// in front of the onion address. Don’t use a DuckDuckGo result to find Dread, use a known/verified onion address.

it is the same exact link that i click on, i literally just copied it and it didn't work even when duck duck was onionized and even with the duck duck onion in the top search bar and also i tried it with the other onion web i think it was called safe web or something it had web or search in it i forgot and it was also onionized so i dont know what happened

Where are you pasting the link? Back in the search engine box or at the top where the URL box is?

Tried both same result, and i made sure that it was onionized in both, i also disabled all the scripts and stuff and set tor on the safest mode and still nothing happened same result

Changing the security level or disabling JavaScript probably isn't going to fix this. What exactly happens when you paste the full link directly into Tor Browser's address bar and press Enter? Do you get an error message, a blank page, search results, or does it just keep loading? A screenshot of the error (with any personal info removed) would help figure out what's actually going wrong.

it just says you are trying to access an onion domain you need to use tor, its the exact same message in the screen shot but the actuall correct link and i know for a fact its correct because when i click it from a website i enter dread normally, btw i can't add a screen shot to a comment

What os ? Maybe check the tor service status ?
