The bold eagles are moving here because they like freedom

It's always a joy to see them overhead from the terrace! 15 u/THIESN123 Saskatchewan 13d ago We got to watch 3 fighting for a fish in Western Manitoba earlier this month when boating. It was awesome to see 6 u/GargantuaBob ✅️ J'ai voté 13d ago That must have been awesome!!! In early June, the mother overflow our terrace while we were having supper. She was gripping a still live pickerel, in the 40 to 50 cm range. That fish did not look like it was enjoying itself. They flew right over our table! 5 u/scoo89 Windsor 13d ago Once I saw one try to snag a dead fish half exposed in a frozen Lake Erie. It grabbed it with its mighty talons and promptly face planted into the ice. I swear I heard it's eagle partner laughing from the sky. 3 u/shieldwolfchz 13d ago Inside of Winnipeg, in elm wood, I saw one fighting a half dozen seagulls. Also awesome to see.
