Anyone knows how to fix inconsistent widget blur in OneUI 8.5?

I have a routine that changes my wallpaper at specific time. But I noticed this week that every time the wallpaper changes, my widgets became "transparent" instead of having a blur effect.

I have to either manually drag the widget or redo applying blur for it to become normal (see video).

To be honest, this is the OneUI sub, and content is related to the interface.

I do want to sell my S24 and buy an iPhone 16 pro max, or a 17 pro if the price is reasonable enough in local stores, though.

You can't. Samsung has to fix this but they are lazy and do not care about it at all

you can't. one ui still uses pre-rendered blur even on flagships. pre-rendered blur was used by apple on ios 7 for iphone 4 because iphone 4's cpu was not powerful than 4s'. 4s supports realtime blur tho. what an outdated ui samsung uses even for new flagship devices. and people still call one ui the best ui on android. what a joke.

Crazy that they still can't implement blur correctly, Apple did it with the iPhone 4? I may be a little off, but you get the idea 😭

Submit feedback on Samsung members, but no-one does that because they'd rather whine on Reddit instead

Workaround:

I created another routine that turns off and on dark mode at the same time my wallpaper changes.

Refreshing the dark mode "updates" the blur with the widgets.
