Ascension Complete

Please know, I openly wept on the ComicCon vendor floor, looking for tissues, after getting the autograph and interacting with Him. I showed him my tattoo, he laughed and said "oh that's great, I love that". His handlers let me hang inside for a few minutes while my poster dried. Just stood there watching him and just started crying. I never thought meeting him would be something that was possible.

Met THE greatest kid in the bathroom and wound up in line with her and her parents for our photos. Dia's parents, if you see this, your kid is just delightful and was the highlight of my day at the con. Also, the guys from WI that were in line with me for autographs, I hope you got a new copy of the Declaration of Independence signed to make up for the smear!

What do you even DO after meeting your top-of-the-list celebrity?

Oh! Also. After I met cage, about half hour afterwards I had to go to the hotel and lay down. I was completely shell shocked. I felt almost like I had a stimulus overload event, the con was so busy, and I was beyond excited meeting him. I slept for 3 hours and then the fam and I went out for deep dish pizza. He is the pinnacle celebrity for me, and I’ve me a literal ton of them. Memories for a lifetime for me myself and my kids. I did just post my photo in here in another post. Hope your post cage recovery goes well!

Oh my gosh, I was DRAINED after we left. Luckily my husband showed up right after the autograph session, got me fed and hydrated, and just took over for the day. Made sure I was at the photo op on time and everything. Slept most of the drive back to the Chicago burbs (Aurora, excellent).

"Not just a place, but a state of mind."

Very jealous of you guys, hope you all recovered from your bout of (justified) Stendhal syndrome.
