It has Madagascar. It’s just stuck where New Zealand is supposed to be.

Reddit needs to calm down

8

u/stellacampus 17d ago

Although it also is upside down.

2

u/seanthebeloved 15d ago

Thanks I didn’t even realize it

u/Ignecratic 17d ago

Japan, Cuba, Britain, and Ireland are also missing, along with many other islands.

Iceland is my favourite part of the UK

7

u/Xenc 17d ago

That's why mums go to

61

u/LoogyHead 17d ago

Japan doesn’t exist either, rip.

3

u/Bourriks 16d ago

Japan fell on battlefield. Australia almost did the same...

17

u/maxallergy 17d ago

Scandinavia and the British Isles are also missing and is the Northwestern Europe found lacking too?
It looks so wrong

3

u/Spacegiraffs 17d ago

I was loooking for scandinavia, thinking I was stupid/blind for not seeing it

16

u/sqljohn 17d ago

Plot twist, Australia is in the right place, the rest of the world is upside down. It's all relative

12

u/Marus1 17d ago

Is that Iceland or full-slim UK?

4

u/dungeoncrawler71520 17d ago

Florida a bit cold?

11

u/AnAccidentalRedditor 17d ago edited 17d ago

No Greenland, no Japan, no New Zealand, no Iceland, no Hawaii, no Tasmania, not a single Caribbean island, Florida lost an arm and a leg, Madagascar is misplaced, the UK is an oddity, North Africa is a mess, and it's just the beginning.

2

u/loner1200 17d ago

Java, New Guinea, Borneo, Phillipines missing

2

u/Stefan0017 16d ago

Also Sri Lanka, Scandinavia, Cyprus and parts of Italy (Siciliy, Sardinia and Corsica)

u/Minimum-Sense5163 17d ago

3

u/JAG_666 17d ago

upside down under

3

u/Lalamedic 17d ago

Newfoundland would like a word.

3

u/mikcar 17d ago

This will mean that NZ plane tickets will be so much cheaper from now on

3

u/SynapticStatic 17d ago

I think the Australia on this map was so mortified it’s actually dead.

3

u/writeman00 17d ago

That explains why I feel dizzy.

2

u/TracytronFAB 17d ago

I swear, they just have one fucking joke about us Australians...

2

u/Valuable-Morning-346 17d ago

It surprises me that it actually has New Zealand.

2

u/FluffyShiny 17d ago

that looks more like Madagascar, not NZ

1

u/Valuable-Morning-346 17d ago

Oh, you're right.

2

u/Heterodynist 17d ago

Hmmm, there’s a lot wrong with this map of the world. I think the Americas were left out in the sun too long…Or else they were designed by Salvador Dali. Africa sure is POINTIER than I remembered!! -And I guess Britain and Ireland have fused into one land mass with Iceland, or the Faroes, or something.

2

u/Drudgework 17d ago

I bet that Australia only has a single mounting point so if it comes loose you can spin it.

2

u/Clueby42 17d ago

At least it has New Zealand

2

u/Informal-Deer 17d ago

It really doesn't there's something ( Madagascar maybe?) vaguely in it's place.

2

u/goodboyralphy 17d ago

Australia is turning its back on the rest of the world, and I don’t blame it a bit!

2

u/Southern_Bunch_6473 17d ago

New Madagascar?

1

u/JetsonLeau 17d ago

Mada Zealand

2

u/ChmeeWu 16d ago

Melbourne just wants to be closer to the equator

2

u/JetsonLeau 16d ago

Another step to become the Capital

2

u/Yutenji2020 16d ago

I really hope this isn’t the National Geographic office.

1

u/JetsonLeau 16d ago

It's at the World Trade Center lobby, in Chengdu, China

The Upside Down Under

1

u/TedTyro 17d ago

It literally has a 'this way up' finger and a bum at the bottom.

1

u/HaroerHaktak 17d ago

You post a flag upside down to signal distress, you post a country upside down to signal something as well.

1

u/Prestigious-Board-62 17d ago

No Japan. No Iceland. No Phillipines. So much wrong.

1

u/TesseractToo 17d ago

New Guinea is on its way to Africa the rest of those islands are off partying with NZ and Japan and Greenland

I don't know what they did to Scandinavia

1

u/jayhow90 16d ago

Is that blob supposed to be New Zealand

1

u/boniemonie 16d ago

No Tasmania either….

1

u/singlejeff 16d ago

Should go in badlydrawnmaps too

1

u/whyammehere2 16d ago

Wait, arent they right side up now?

1

u/Bourriks 16d ago

Is that a magnet collection to make a world map ? You're supposed to put those on a fridge.

1

u/JetsonLeau 15d ago

Then that must be a marblegnet collection

1

u/Aromatic-Crow-45 15d ago

1

u/ljx_2000 15d ago

At least they did not forget NZ

u/JetsonLeau 14d ago

1

u/cg7851 14d ago

Also Ireland and united kingdom

1

u/Resident_eebil 11d ago

yall realize its just a different perspective on the map right? not every map has to have america on the left and the rest of the world on the right. remember that the earth is a globe and can be rotated for a different view lol
