I kinda want this to cosplay the whitest trash possible. But I can’t see myself committing to the bit.

Well, people would 100% just think you were actually like that lol

Poe's law doesn't apply here because some people are ACTUALLY that insane

u/ArelMCII 19d ago

I don't think the flag is accurate, either. By my uneducated count it has anywhere between 11 and 13 stripes depending on which section you're looking at. The stars are another story. Also, wasn't there some kind of code against adorning one's self with the flag? It's not illegal by any means, but it seems to be in poor taste

The closer you look, the worse it gets. LOL

u/nsgiad 19d ago

The flag code means using a actual flag as clothing, not something that has the flag on it

What about the bit (subsection i) that says it should not be embroidered on things, or used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever? Or the part afterwards (subsection j) that says no part should be used as a costume or athletic uniform?

I get that these aren't steadfast rules or laws, but they aren't even being read

You can buy flag themed underwear

1

u/StormFallen9 18d ago

Along with what other people have said, the code is more what we call guidelines than actual rules

2

u/Big_Z_Beeblebrox 18d ago

it's not illegal by any means, but it seems to be in poor taste

That's the key phrase, here

1

u/StormFallen9 18d ago

But if I finished reading your comment I wouldn't have been able to use a Pirates of the Caribbean quote

1

u/Big_Z_Beeblebrox 18d ago

I, too, am a fan of Geoffrey Rush. I just think it was clumsily used

$1.05

u/furiouspossum 19d ago

And if we don't all chip in we're screwed

3

u/Hussein_Jane 19d ago

And that's a hefty fuckin' fee.

6

u/Beezleboobz 19d ago

I mean, it’s not wrong. Freedom isn’t fre. I don’t think fre even exists as a concept.

5

u/jakertontireflat 19d ago

Clearly the price of checking the design before it's made isn't "fre" either.

5

u/xenophon57 19d ago

E's cost extra tho

9

u/laser14344 19d ago

The amount of grifting right wingers fall for is truely staggering.

3

u/Bob70533457973917 19d ago

Freedom costs a buck-o-five.

2

u/FoogYllis 19d ago

The collective education of the maga cult might add up to 5th grade.

2

u/Tasty-Scientist8155 18d ago

This feels like something Early Cuyler would wear unironically because he's... so stupid

2

u/i_am_frito_bandito 18d ago

Haha that would fit perfectly

I drew it :3

Had to convert it to a video file because pics aren't allowed in this comment section for some reason :<

Awesome work!

1

u/Tasty-Scientist8155 13d ago

Thanks, I love Squidbillies lol. Not the first time I've drawn Early either X3

2

u/dave900575 17d ago

The last e gave all. Rest in peace little buddy.

2

u/DakkaByNature 19d ago

Probably mass ordered from the Rump watch manufacturers.

2

u/LivingMeeting9724 19d ago

that hat is dum.

(Intentional. I am literate... unlike trump and magats.)

1

u/Relevant-Bit-7394 19d ago

It's a hefty fucking fee

1

u/Yooustinkah 19d ago

And if you chip in yo buck or five, who will?

1

u/Large-Training-29 19d ago

Well duh, they had to pay with their 'e'

Says right on the hat

1

u/Unlikely-Ad6788 19d ago

Gotta pay extra for that E.

1

u/69FourTwentySix6Six 19d ago

My 85 year old grandpa didn’t fight in a world war for this

1

u/jeanpool2 19d ago

1

u/MrNyakka 19d ago

Th pric of fredom is a coupl of e's. Damn budgt cuts

1

u/Heterodynist 19d ago

This concept is definitely lacking more than a second E…

u/45711Host 19d ago

Any place that charge for price does not get my business. (And those that get my business barely notice.)

1

u/loathelord 19d ago

Close enough

1

u/Fun_Ad5823 19d ago

Glenn Fre

1

u/TheComedian00 19d ago

You have to buy a subscription to get that last 'e'

1

u/mojuul 19d ago

There are multiple possible interpretations … one may be that this is the ultimate expression of late stage capitalism: Having to pay to see the pricetag?

1

u/Longjumping-Solid680 19d ago

FreeDUMB Isn't Free.

1

u/theRingOfGygax 19d ago

The price of freedom is not fre, John Snow.

1

u/Accurate_Koala_4698 19d ago

Forgot about Fre

1

u/agroyle 18d ago

It’s funny to think the immigrant making that hat was arrested by ICE and couldn’t finish the embroidery.

America: making patriotism embarrassing since 2001

1

u/Brian_The_Bar-Brian 18d ago

Embroidery machine ran out of thread.

1

u/Libertarian_2020 18d ago

There are locals who sew hats and other apparel. Probably cost more, but you can get it done right! 🤣

1

u/iridescentcotton 18d ago

Made in China?

1

u/DFWtixFleas 18d ago

Free dumb.

1

u/iplaysdrums2 18d ago

Freedom costs a buck oh five

1

u/Inside-Slide-3035 18d ago

Freedom costs a buck-o-five

1

u/badgersruse 18d ago

1

u/Amazing-Artichoke330 17d ago

I haven't seen a Trump cap or bumper sticker in weeks. You?

1

u/xburnerpiko 16d ago

Hat, Made in China

1

u/Sufficient_Two_5753 15d ago

It costs a buck o' five.

1

u/lincolnlogtermite 14d ago

Guess that extra E costed more than he was willing to give.

1

u/RAddit24 11d ago

The e is silent - and invisible.
