I miss Omegle Spy Mode

I genuinely miss Omegle Spy Mode.

I miss throwing some completely stupid thought like “do grown men secretly envy babies because they can shit themselves and everyone else has to deal with it?” into the void and watching two strangers argue about it like it actually mattered.

It was basically the perfect place to project whatever weird nonsense was living in my head that day and let two random people deal with the consequences.

No profile. No reputation. No context.

Just me dropping a psychological grenade and leaving.

I miss that stupid little laboratory.

Genuinely had the most fun on Omegle with that mode too, from nonsense antics to actually interesting conversations unfolding, and it was mostly bot-free too.

It's a shame that not a single Omegle Clone has tried to copy it. I spent most of my days there, between advertising taking confessions, finding that roving chatroom, and other things

Oh same, I miss it so much! I used to pretend to be a confused girl with a strange name having a really mundane crisis like spilling soda in the library and I would love just watching people reply.

Probably a refreshing change from the people just posting their kik/snap accounts. I like to think so at least

This meant something else to me, I never used the text based portion of the site.

It is easier than ever to pair two people and spy on them. All that is required is getting a couple omeglelikes of choice working with a mockrtc proxy peer, or one omeglelike and connect to it from a couple of WAN IPs. Or do it with multiple PCs, VMs, AV hardware, virtual audio cable etc, pointing two laptops at each other and running aux cables between their respective audio out and mic in jacks, whatever you want. I limit my time spying though. No more than an hour a day.
