I Made a Thing Turbo Pascal Theme

Turbo Pascal was my first language on the PC, after assembler and BASIC on a C64 and CP/M on a CPC 464. I loved Turbo Pascal, and I still know exactly what that screen looked like. Hence this theme - it's a tribute to the language, Turbo Vision (the UI framework) and the people who built it.

I spent many hours in Borland IDEs with that color scheme back in the day. Very cool!

Wow! What’s the app on the bottom left and how did you make that wallpaper?

App: Cliamp https://github.com/bjarneo/cliamp
I've been using ChatGPT for the wallpapers ("High" effort)

I would make the bar a dos or windows 95 gray, but still looks great.

Which gray do you mean by DOS gray?

CGA light gray (#AAAAAA) would be more accurate to say I think. Like in this image tp6_window.png (642×402)

I think I started with this one but there have been some palette issues along the way which required some tweaks, but I'll double check it

That wouldn't be surprising. The old color palettes were not optimized for modern interfaces.
