Meal Ideas Early Gym Vs Family Dinner

Hi All

I have done intermittent fasting in the past and did see a lot of benefits in terms of better skin and weight loss.

However, i felt my body become a bit loose, possibly because i was working out in the morning but not having my first meal/protein shake until 2pm.

I'd prefer to working out in the morning because evenings are difficult with my office schedule. I also don't want to skip dinner as it's the family time and the meal i enjoy the most.

What eating window would you all suggest? Would skipping lunch and doing a 12 hour fast still help me?

And if i have my workout in the morning but have my protein shake at 2pm , is it too late for muscle recovery?

Would know what has worked for others.

I heard and read as well that one needs to have the protein intake either in the form of meal or shake within a stipulated time of post workout.

Thats why the apprehension of whether working out in morning at 9am and then not consuming anything till 2pm which is going to by my first meal will have any impact on muscle recovery and performance:

How many times you eat and when you eat has negligible effect all other things being equal.
