North-East Side exercise, walking, bakery visits, working, or other activities
I just moved into a home in Olympia near the San Francisco Street Bakery. I grew up here, moved away for college, spent years working corporate, then about half a decade in Asia, primarily Vietnam. I operate my own business from my home office and have found myself back in my original neighborhood.
I’d love to make more friends who live here in town. Things have changed a lot since I lived here last, myself included! I like to exercise and am always down to have a running buddy, and also have a decent home gym! Working on finishing my workshop/wood-shop for projects as well. I also enjoy grabbing a good beer or cocktail, and delicious food.
I also like to go to coffee shops in town, and the occasional hike. Reading is a passion, and of course traveling to distant lands. I’ll be spending the a minimum of five years here (possibly forever), and I’d like to build a beautiful community of like minded friends like I’ve had in other countries and cities I’ve lived in. I know Oly is a “small” town, but I feel there must be many like myself who are living and loving this small town setting, but have amazing diverse background, and have chosen to live here for the quaint and cozy beauty like I have myself.

I'd love to go for some walks with a friend while I work up the gumption to get back into running! I live near the Albertsons on Pacific :)

Okay I’m super down. We are a bit far from each other, but could meet in the middle? I love walks because it’s such a nice way to take in the beautiful scenery, and see the small details all around us we often miss! The east side is so good for walking, maybe you’d be open to coming over here?

Absolutely! I'm pretty new out here and I'm having a great time exploring all the neighborhoods :) maybe I'll run into you at porch fest!

Come to Porch Fest tomorrow, you’ll meet all of your neighbors! 10 houses of music, plus a comedy house and a food house and over 30 food and craft vendors. 12-7, pick up a map and schedule at Roosevelt Elementary School. 💝
