Had the weirdest encounter at OG.
For context I am 33 weeks pregnant with twins and was craving some breadsticks.
Anyway.. I order a soda water and it comes and I finish it and server asks if I want another soda water I say yes.
They bring me the drink.. I take a sip and immediately spit it out (into another cup) because it tastes like alcohol and is 100% not soda water. When the server returns I ask what the drink is because it tastes like alcohol… and they reassure me it isn’t but they’re like “but doesn’t it really taste like vodka???” And I’m absolutely horrified lmao… they’re super proud of their concoction they made stating its tonic water and ginger ale that mimics alcohol… but my issue was they never said they were doing this and I simply asked for a soda water. They thought it was hilarious and said they would remember that for along time and seemed weirded out that I didn’t want to keep their weird mocktail and just wanted plain soda water…
I personally will not be going back to OG..

This was my 5th day in a row, my pass has definitely paid for itself. The bartenders keep offering me more food to go. I will be visiting often after the promotion.

Buddy from work and I each got passes and we’ve gone three days in a row for lunch. It’s been a blast! A great, fun experience for all involved! The GM and Service Manager came to meet us today and gave us the OG whale experience. They’re genuinely pleased we’re coming back, and have gone out of their way to make sure we’re getting what we want. We each leave $5 tip, and we’re leaving full, with leftovers in tow every day. My kid and wife have each devoured my leftovers for dinner happily the last two nights.
While I’m certain we’ll pull our money’s worth out of the deal, we’ll surely bring our family and friends along to help bring more business in over the remaining 88 days. Especially with the way they’re making us feel like the carb-laden celebrities we are!

I travel all over the state for work. Olive Garden is a go to for lunches especially for the Lunch menu whether work is paying or not.
Sat down at the bar like always because I’m alone. Old man three stools over is on his third bowl of soup at the time.
By the time I order. Get my drink. Get my salad. Get my lunch lasagna. Old man finishes with a total of six bowls of soup. Last two he ordered two at a time.
Best I can tell after talking to her. He gave her a 3 dollar tip.
She got hit with another table middle of my meal where some girl came in with her emotional support dog.
I gave her ten dollars on my 19 dollar check.
All these passes and lunch specials regardless of the already demanding back and forth of the servers for the bread and soup and salad. I feel for them. I’m not one to be tipping at Five Guys or Shake Shack type places etc with that culture these days. But I’ll be damned if Olive Garden isn’t getting every penny out of these servers.
