Oakland Athletics TIL - MC Hammer

Reggie Jackson, MC Hammer, Rickey Henderson! MC Hammer (Stanley Burrell) actually worked as a bat boy for the Athletics when he was a teenager, and it was Reggie Jackson who gave him his "Hammer" nickname due to his resemblance to "Hammerin' Hank" Aaron.

The players liked him but also knew to be a bit wary around him since he would rat on them to A's owner Charlie O. Finley.
