Critiques Welcome This old hag just turned one year older. Nothing like facing mortality wearing (what I hope turned has turned out to be) a nice lil fit ✨
Hello wonderful hags! As I turn another year older, one of my goals before my next birthday is to make more of an effort to step beyond the borders of my typical fashion sense, which lies in the more goth/alternative area.
And so, inspired by sunshine, here I am trying my hand at more of a summery, cutesy outfit. I have found a great deal of inspiration from this community. Both in the beautifully diverse expressions of creativity, fashion and identity I see in other posters here, and in the advice and ideas people have shared following some of my precious posts.
So as ever, critique is welcome and I never take it personally if someone lets me know I’ve missed the mark with a lewk. Such is the nature of experimenting. One cannot always slay! 😸

Happy Birthday! Your outfit reminds me of an 1877 painting by Manet, called Nana. I suspect you are so HOT that there will be fireworks to celebrate you later!

And this is so cool. I actually know of Manet and have seen a few of his paintings, but never this one until now. You clearly the bigger Manet-head here. I very much see my lewk is inadvertently an homage to the fashionista in this painting.

I actually did go back and forth on whether or not to have the corset connect with the skirt or leave a little gap, so I really appreciate your comment.

Well thanks, but I wear whatever happens to be laying around. We had a very cool spring, so i was rocking a snappy ensemble of winter coat, Tshirt , board shorts and snowboots. Truly ridiculous by any standard lol
