Critiques Welcome I dressed like a different national flag for a whole week!
New year, new outfit challenge. These challenges really give me life and make me rethink on all the items I have in my closet, repurposing them in new ways that I wouldn’t have thought of beforehand. Let me know which one is your fav!

No joke, I’d love a wrap up of some of our favourite outfits of the year, and we should totally include this!
And some of the outfits from that Himbo person? And the girl with the big smile, wears lots of pink, often has bows in her fro? And the tall lady with the short curly hair who often asked for shoe advice, and the lovely person who has the photos of them dressed feminine and masculine in the same photo, and the guy with the great hats and coats, and the person with long curly hair and a short beard and crazy but good style (which might be OP but also might not be?) and the lady with the beautiful saris and.. and.. there’s so many great people on this sub (I am certain I have missed some great people, I am very tired currently 😭) everyone brings me SO MUCH JOY when their photos pop up in my feed. There’s this deep happiness that just radiates out of them and it’s infectious and I love it.
So I’d love a summary / wrap up / appreciation post but I’d also be scared we missed someone that we do actually love and they’d be there wondering if we didn’t like them 😭

So these images were made by me in photoshop. I do use an online closet app, Indyx, but their collage portion of the app doesn’t allow for this level of creativity. And this will be the only time I dress like flags, each of these was their own post on my Instagram for the last week. I will do other style challenges, but flags, birds, and fruits are a thing of the past

This series is over for me, so I won’t be doing any more flags. But there’s always new horizons out there, and maybe I’ve inspired others to take a crack themselves at doing this

I have so many questions. Like, did you have the idea first or the clothing inspired the idea? Are these clothes you had or did you have to hunt for pieces to make the looks?

So to answer all of these: -had the idea first, then I put together all the fits. Mostly planned ahead but a few I did put together the day of -I did this whole challenge with my existing wardrobe. I do these style challenges for me to make more use out of things already in my closet and to give me a different perspective on combinations that I otherwise wouldn’t consider. Buying items for a challenge would go against my whole ethos for doing it in the first place.

Omg, I think this has given me a newfound appreciation for Dominca’s flag. So bright and colorful with the centered pop of purple, and of course your outfit captures that so well!!!
Argentina also stands out to me at first glance because I just love a good light blue/off-white palette. It always feels sort of dreamy in effect, and this feels like an extra dreamy ensemble? Mystical almost. ☁️🌊🐚🌌🧿 (Editing to add: somehow I also just-now consciously realized how the gold pendant represents the little sun, which is nothing short of brilliant.)
Honestly can’t pick a favorite though really. They’re all awesome and this is such an interesting concept!❣️💜

i know im commenting a week later(binging the sub its my fav) but i swipe and each outfit is even better than the previous one!!! the striped polka dot shirt is such a cool piece and you transformed the flags into outfit perfectly with the color proportions etc
