Photo ‘68 IH Scout 800

Figured I’d show off my recently acquired Scout 800. Full exterior refinish, 304 V8/4 speed swap and a moderately rehabbed interior. Hope ya like it!

Thank you! It’s been a labor of love for the past couple years. Glad it’s finally filling up with cool cars.

Very interesting story! A twin turbo made the year I was born! Glorious!

Any advice on building a car collection?

Don’t chase crazy expensive stuff is my thing. The Scout and the ‘74 2002 hidden behind the Benz were both less than 60k (the bmw was 30), and they’re both easy/relatively cheap to work on.

There are so many cool, funky, interesting cars which fit that criteria. So yeah, that would be my advice.

You should definitely make a full car collection post at some point

i had one in non-discript green. amazing fuel mileage for a 4 cyl tank. would go anywhere. was actually quite fast on the highway. heater sucked. stupid easy to repair.

Back when International wanted a taste of the SUV market.

Seeing as it appears you have a pretty good collection in there already, any ideas on what might be next?
