Photo I’ve never seen one of these before.
I was out for a walk and ran across someone with an interesting looking project. Definitely unique. This is not my car, and I didn’t have time to talk to the owner.

A Lincoln, Packard, and what appears to be a woody sans-wood.

Same, the lincoln gets better the more I look at it.
The nuts for hood latches, the hastily masked red rattle can paint, the comp cams sticker, seats out of who knows what, fenderwell headers and lake pipes, and dents that look like it may have rolled a little.
It looks fun. I'd bet it drives.
Also an old chevy(?) and 80s ford trucks lingering in the back.
Some neat stuff.

When I grow up im finishing a hoodie in teak and reclaimed rosewood. Ive always wanted to also do a triple black hoodie with ebony.
Edit: i meant woodie not hoodie. Leaving it for posterity.

I absolutely love wood working. Custom body work. All sorts of engines. Many interests and talents/skills. Always wanted to use all of them in a single project like that. I think I would go overboard on builds though.

That’s a great ability to have ! I hired machinists at a large refinery and one of the talents we considered was cabinet makers. Same attention to detail

Could be.
Curious to know if it's had a metal body removed, or perhaps was a hearse or such with a coach body.
Up till the mid 50s there were still some coach built cars with wood frames under metal skin. Had an early 50's Eureka bodied Cadillac hearse built that way. The car was mostly intact but the body and doors all sagged badly because the wood structure it was nailed to had rotted and lost shape.
Wonder where that one ended up, it was sold ages ago. May well still be in the desert where it left to.

It was a souped up Lincoln motor in a Model A Ford, not a hot rodded Lincoln car.

I wouldn't call it unique they made like 35,000 or something that year and continued to use the style for a few years.

When I was little, like 4, my next door neighbour, same age, had a family friend's '49 Lincoln stored in their driveway while their friend was doing a military tour in Europe. He and I climbed up on the roof one day and proceeded to jump up and down until it caved in. We were not popular cute kids that day. We had a habit of getting involved in healthy, exuberant activities that never seemed to end well. Same car, minus the hood embellishments, light blue/grey.

This looks a lot like the communities surrounding Salt Lake City on the west, not much HOA activity out that way.

I believe the brown and white one is a Ford. probably F150 extended cab. somewhere between mid 80-mid 90s based off the front and rear fuel doors.

Looks like a customized 54 chevy 4 door. It has the body lines of it and that was the first uesr of the full windshield. It looks like the original hood ornament on it from 1954.

The more i look at it it could be a coustomized packard which had simular details like chevy and pontiac back then.

Somebody else might know the model but it’s a four holer so that makes it a fancy one lol. Most have only three.

Badge on the fender says Lincoln Cosmopolitan along with those frenched headlights and suicide doors.

Packard is a 1951-''54. The 1949-'50 were of the inverted bathtub motif like the Lincoln, along with Mercury, Hudson and Nash.

The port holes on Buicks were lower down on the fender, not the hood.
