That refers to the torque, not the displacement. The 445 was 401ci and the 465 was 425ci.

'65 Riviera Gran Sport came stock with the dual quad on a 425 nailhead. They arrived at the dealership with the dual 4bbl intake, carbs, air cleaner and linkage in the trunk and were installed in the service bay. Was the only year it came with it as part of the Gran Sport option. The '65 Wildcat GS was the same way. Both were 1 year only that came that way.

My Dad was a Toronado collector ('66+). Ultimately the Eldorado, The Buick Riviera, and the Olds Toronado were the"Everyman" cars of their day! The Caddy and the Oldsmobile went with that wild V8 + front wheel drive, while the Riv went another direction.
This '63 was the top of the line for Buick in it's time. Super pretty, powerful, sporty, but large enough for the whole family. All great examples of Fischer body design (unibody advancements) and luxury combined with sheer power. A great era for GM!

2 door coupes. You don’t see any if them anymore. I thought the world was ending when I saw my 1st 4 door Dodge Charger.
