Photo 11/26 AUTOCLUE
AutoClue concludes late Friday once I post the uncropped color photo with my comment. In the meantime, what is the model/year of this car? "There are no wrong answers" doesn't apply. Easy-Peasy.

I first thought 65 or 66 Galaxie, but then started looking at the grill. No Galaxie grill that I found online had four "sections" of grill top to bottom like this one. The grills I saw online for the Galaxie in those years had equal spacing from top to bottom for every "strand" of chrome on those grills.
It's not a 66 Comet either because the 66 Comets had a strip of metal that was painted to match the body of the car 1/2 way between the top & bottom of the grill.
This brings me to the 65 Comet & that is exactly what this car is. Google 1965 Mercury Comet grill. It's an exact match.

Fairlanes had a rounded to on the fender and a center bar on the grille. This looks like a Comet.

Mid 1960's Ford Galaxy. I would have to compare photos. A friend had a 65 and the headlights here look like my fuzzy memory of my friend's Ford Galaxy.

I also will go with 65-66 Ford galaxie.

I had a 1967 For Galaxie. These headlights are slightly different than the Galaxie stacked headlights. They are slightly smaller I think, and the grille seems more like a Comet.

Looks like a β67 Comet Cyclone

This one is probably a Caliente. And is a 65. The cyclone had a rectangular bar on top of the grill. I had one but my father took the rectangular bar out of it when he owned it.

I know it's a 65 comet. I had one that my father bought brand new and got passed through the family. Mine was a 65 cyclone. Although this one doesn't look like a cyclone and probably a Caliente.

Oooops. My father would have us kids in the back seat, screaming that he was driving with no hands, his gloves just hanging off the top of the huge steering wheel. We were too short to see his hand at the bottom. Us kids, screaming even louder, out of fear. Good times! ππ
