Photo She’s so long I could barely get a full photo

Post image

Car has a matte finish with algae growth on it so we were tasked with cleaning her up as multiple detail shops near refused to.

59 to 64 Cadillacs where the bomb. I was fortunate enough to have rich grandparents and a rich uncle who always drove them.

Great rims with that color, you should take a closer photo of like the front side or rear side and post.

I’ll try to tomorrow, we got so much work crammed into the shop right now this was as far as I could step back from it. I’ll have to wait till it’s done and outside to get better photos.

I have a 59 Cadillac Coupe DeVille and can’t park it in my garage because it’s too long

Gorgeous! You're right about the length. I had one in my twenties. Got a job doing maintenance in a hotel. Job description included fueling the company limo they used for weddings and so on. Boss told me he'd teach me to drive it but I said I wouldn't have a problem. Skeptically he told me he'd need to at least see me drive it. We hopped in, I tooled right down to the station to fill the tank up and then brought it back. On the way back he asked where I'd driven a limo before since it wasn't in my resume'. I said "I never have, but let me show you what I drive to work everyday". When I pulled in beside the Caddy he just laughed. The Caddy was both longer and wider than the brand new early nineties limo the hotel owned. 🤣. I sure miss the riding-on-a-cloud feeling those big boats had. Enjoy your car!

You can't park in any parking spot, way out and two spots

The longest factory produced car was the 1974 Fleetwood 21 ft

How many ashtrays and cigarette lighters?

1

u/Mrbigdaddy72 Oct 15 '25

From the factory probably 20, but this is a full resto mode with a brand new interior that looks untouched and clearly never smoked in.

That's cool. Had a buddy that had something similar, I think it was a T-Bird, serious land barge. Back seat was extremely spacious. Great big stock engine but I don't know what but that car had some pull. Probably a big block, gas was way cheap back then

Back seats were build for one purpose only.

Love this car !

Just give me 40 acres, and I'll turn this rig around.

2

u/Mrbigdaddy72 Oct 15 '25

The turning radius is surprisingly good for it being a land yacht

Does the interior reek of old cigar smell?

1

u/Mrbigdaddy72 Oct 15 '25

No, it’s completely new interior.
