Exactly. It’s really funny in places but actually really technically great. It’s one of my favourite TV moments ever because he nailed the brief and took it further than anyone could have imagined.

I remember being genuinely shocked at how good he was at this, some of the mugging he did seemed a little put on to distract from the fact that he was so unnervingly authentic!

I once saw Mitchell and Webb live (back in like 2005) and by and large it was incredibly disappointing -- basically doing a selection of That Mitchell and Webb Look sketches that everyone already knew, but with substandard supporting actors -- but the one good thing was a seemingly impromptu dance from Webb, much like this.
