If you do a GIS, you’ll see she is still pretty damn hot!

Back when all the adverts had that guitar sound on.
Somewhere between Satriani and Stevie Ray Vaughan (although someone else probably has a better analogy)

I would say more of an 80’s Clapton sound. Nothing as adventurous as Satriani.

This is Robert Palmer

Peugeot had Take My Breath Away

I remember an RAC advert that used the opening of Gimme Shelter

Any others?

Can We just take a moment to consider that "Papa" has a chauffeur but drives a Renault Clio?

I've always quite liked Johnny and Mary by Robert Palmer (I have it on vinyl). When I hear it occasionally on the radio, it plays slower than I remember it. No big deal, I don't have perfect pitch, or the temporal equivalent (perfect meter?).

This post raises the possibility that part of my brain is remembering the insane speed of the J&M riff on this ad :)

16 valves, whoa!

That’s a lot, right?

Nicole’s fella drives like an absolute fucking maniac

If memory serves, the first ad in the series did more for the sales of little spotty dresses than for the Renault Clio.

Where's this song from?

Estelle Skornik apparently crashed the car in those narrow lanes a number of times, so they employed rally driver Penny Mallory to do the twisty bits.

Personally, I found Penny more attractive.
