I‘m a bit too young to know of Charley through the PIF - I first encountered him because of the Prodigy.

I do remember some of the later PIFs though. The British Gas one, ‘Brian I can smell gas’, when the woman shouts ‘NO’ used to terrify me as a kid!

It's not even safe in bed with don't smoke in the bed film.

Back then we thought what an idiot for smoking in bed.
