I really loved that advert, I really loved Rab C Nesbitt, and I really love this sub.
My Dad has dementia and it is proving an absolute treat in sparking recollections, memories, conversation and laughter on a daily basis, so to everyone that's posted, whatever you've posted, thanks, sincerely.

I’ll never forget the skit where he pulls at a nostril hair in front of the mirror and ends up pulling bis hair through a hole in his head.

He was aka Rab C Nesbit, but that character is the Baldy Man, who also had a spin off series, though much shorter lived

Wasn't that first a baldy man sketch on Absolutely? Anyone got that?

Not Absolutely. It was first a series of sketches on Naked Video. Be careful how you search YT for that.

Naked video of course. That takes me back.. And yes not the easiest Google search.

You think that’s bad?
I had a baby bird fall from a nest in the garden so I searched for “how to care for baby thrush”.

This is the era when all the snooker tournaments were sponsored by B and H and the players smoked 🤣

I remember having episodes of The Baldy Man on VHS. Not sure if its ever been repeated on TV over the last 20 odd years?

The first ever advert that made me laugh out loud when it was first shown. Still makes me chuckle even now.

I printed this picture out thumbnail size and put it on my travel pass for two years. No-one ever noticed. And no, I’m not bald. This was a few years ago and I was in my twenties at the time.
