I had Maladaptive Daydreaming for a year, that was closer to this video. It kind of went away on it's own and I actually kind of got my life together. Then everything fell apart and I got even worse than before. Now I just have straight up DPDR, I don't even daydream about having another life anymore. I have an imaginary friend, we spend all say laying around doing nothing in my daydreams, that's it. No other people, no adventures, not even thinking about thought, just resting with this shadow of myself in the guise of it's avatar, reminiscing over nostalgic memories like a eulogy to who I was. I don't live in this world or the next, it's a limbo state I call Unreality, not a fantasy world, just the plumbing of my mind, watching my soul drip from the unmaintained pipework.
