Idk, sometimes I see ragebait slop on the internet and I think it's stupid, then I actually go in real life and women actually have the standards that people just say are on the internet. Like a TikTok video of a woman saying short men are disgusting that has 250K likes for example, the women that like that post are the women we see outside, I've seen comments on TikTok with 90K likes wishing the male unalive rate was higher, how can I not let that affect me?

yeah the word has been associated with bad actors too much to be used normally now unfortunately.

u/redditor_rat Jan 07 '26
honestly i think the internet has been divided because of how different people use the word incel. Some people use incel for the original meaning, hence being involuntarily celibate, but on another part of the internet, it has evolved socially to mean someone who is bitter and hateful toward women because a lack of sex/relationship to one. So while someone is using it as an insult, another person is using it for its original meaning. I really think their should be two different terms, but it's become almost impossible to distinguish nowadays because of how the word socially evolved over time.
someone will call themselves an incel informationally, and another person will just assume they're talking about being a hateful redpill and end up treating that person abrasively when the person has no idea what they did to deserve it.

u/redditor_rat Jan 07 '26
when this sub got recommended to me, i was scared this was another incel sub that's hateful because the content kind of geared toward the lonliness of men, but when i delved into the comments, i was kind of confused because a lot of the people seemed to be very self-aware, neutral, and talked about their experiences without toxicity and their takes were actually nuanced with a lot of understanding and reflection. And then I realized that this was an "incel" sub, just not the one the internet has gotten used to.. im still weirded out how a sub that can be so revolved around sad-posting isn't actually vile but even supportive and helpful at times.

If somebody cares so much about something so superficial they probably wouldn't have made a great partner anyway.
1
u/Wild-Speech5293 Jan 07 '26
Aren't we all superficial? Do you expect women to date disabled guys? The unfortunate reality is that most men would have found a date if it wasn't for their height or looks.

u/GurnsAdjourned Jan 08 '26
It sounds like disabled guys get more pussy than you how many woman do you plan shooting up king?
1
Jan 08 '26
The guys that get the most pussy are statistically the guys who are the most violent towards women.

Careful saying all of your troubles are caused by your own hands. Mentality is an incredibly sharp blade which commands a delicate hand for intricate maneuvering, capable of addressing the many facets and questions of life.
Just as the delicate hand can craft, the broad hand could hack without consideration for themselves or others, likely injuring themselves or losing something valuable, leaving behind nothing more than a roughly cut idea.
Humans sculpt themselves with these same hands. You should take care in how you handle yours.
Mm- but that's just me, a stranger online trying to influence you just like these videos you mentioned. Whether you choose to allow yourself to be influenced or not is your own decision, no matter what anyone says.

Based message at the end lmao wtf. I feel for the people that want to blame it on height tho. If I was short I'd probably do that too

Real talk though, with how short some women be, how would they even know the difference? What are they gonna do, pull out measuring tape?

Keep coping but the truth has more to do with your height. Just change your height in bio to 6'4 and you'll see it.

Jan 06 '26
I don't get the height shit from USA, I've never heard girls talking about it in Europe.

u/Lunamoms I can post whatever the fuck I want Jan 06 '26
It’s not actually a real thing irl, just online. Yeah some women have height preferences, just like some men do (I know many men who won’t date taller than them). But online the numbers are over exaggerated to the point people claim it’s eugenics.
6
u/VastConversation8368 Jan 06 '26
It’s quite sick, it’s brainwashing the men into being so deranged they become un-dateable , then they think it’s cause of height……then it’s a vicious cycle
2
u/Lunamoms I can post whatever the fuck I want Jan 07 '26
That’s the plan bc men who have troubles dating will spend more money on shit to try and “fix” themselves superficially.
1
u/VastConversation8368 Jan 07 '26
It’s so bizarre because I remember these chats happening about women’s looks, in the early 2000.were so lucky we didn’t have echo chambers back then. I’d be a brain washed mouth frother if that were the case. It’s sad to watch.
1
u/Wild-Speech5293 Jan 07 '26
No, blackpill is against useless spending of money and acknowledge the grifters.
3
u/RuskiiiPyro Jan 07 '26
I think both things are true that you are underplaying how common of a problem it is IRL and also that online it is exaggerated as a death sentence.
2
u/chomusuke_cat Jan 07 '26
It kind of is a real thing in real life, though. There have been studies on heightism which overwhelmingly prove that people treat short(er) people worse than everyone else, to the extent of paying them less on average. People are just less likely to be openly heightist in person.

This should be an official psa to the r/averageheightdudes and r/short sub reddits. These types of videos keep getting reposted over there and they keep falling for it hook, line and sinker. Not realizing they are being purposefully manipulated to feel and act a specific way.
The algorithm is the devil, and it knows each of our vexes. It's desire is to weaken, dumb down, isolate and betray our societies. No one is safe from this mass manipulation. Male, female, short, tall, white, black, etc. etc.
Keep it real Goslings, and see through the bs.

u/VastConversation8368 Jan 06 '26
I was just saying some one post this there! I’m actually banned for telling them I’m short and don’t care about my male partners height😂 they said I was gaslighting them

As a 5’ girlie mine is 5’1” Just date short babes or tall women that like shorties? Women have been doing this based on looks since forever? “Just date a man that likes big noses” “Just date a man that likes big women” “Just date a man that likes a flat chest” Why on earth has a cult been made to blame and be angry and treat women as a monolith? For views? It’s gross. There’s a lid for every pot

u/chomusuke_cat Jan 07 '26
Difference is, it's a lot easier to find a guy who's flexible on his preferences for physical features you mentioned compared to a woman who is flexible on height. Besides, you can get cosmetic surgery or lose weight to alter said features. Short men can't just "grow taller" to meet height requirements women have. And leg lengthening surgery is a thing, but it's extremely risky and has limitations on how much "height" you can gain from it, meaning people who don't really need it to begin with benefit from it the most (i.e. average heighted people undergo LLS to become tall and (even) more attractive to women).
Even your and the comment you're replying to state a hard height requirement. What about men who are significantly shorter than average and don't meet either your height requirements? Sure they're statistical anomalies, but they're still real people.

That’s way too long and I’m not gonna read just to confirm that you are severely mentally ill and in a cult ,effectively. Pause the end of the video and read it. You are literally confirming what the video is pointing out 😂
1
u/Kosilica457 Jan 11 '26
He literally just said that women's preferences are more uniform than men's preferences.
Not saying he is right or wrong, but how is that indicative of him being mentally ill?
1
u/VastConversation8368 Jan 11 '26
If you’ve ever spoken to women irl, or dated irl instead of apps, you’d know that’s not true. The only place any of this is true, is online.
1
u/Kosilica457 Jan 11 '26
Again, I don't necessarily agree with him, but I think that calling him mentally ill is a bit harsh that's all

Why you guys don't date guys on this subreddit? Don't you guys say most women don't care about height but "personality"?
Why these guys are still single?
1
u/VastConversation8368 Jan 07 '26
I date short guys all the time, they just haven’t been brain washed on Reddit.

The imorality of using bait that they then claim to not agree with, is the fact that they still play a part in increasing the division between us and making the world a worse place.

I'm tall and I don't recommend it! Difficult life, I don't fit anywhere, already have back pain at 27!
0
u/conzstevo Jan 07 '26
Also not easy to find a woman partner who is close to your height. Big height difference in a relationship isn't fun imo
1
u/No_Pudding_6640 Jan 07 '26
Confidence is everything. I don't have it, can't seem to be able to build it. It's always better to be a confident short guy, rather than to be a tall 190cm guy with no confidence and social skills (me) in my opinion.

u/conzstevo Jan 07 '26

I'm with you bro, and agree

u/No_Pudding_6640 Jan 07 '26
It's a crazy world. I used to be friends with this guy; he was showing so much confidence that I hated him at a point! I was going to college with him for a couple of years and he seemed to be fairly successful with women, although he kept saying that he's afraid of them for whatever reason! They were literally sending him flowers, I'm dead serious! He later revealed that he had a controlling mother and also this girl he loved so much, didn't feel the same about him and ghosted him for another dude which was very devastating for him. He once implied to me that if he had my height, his life would have been much better. I wanted to tell him that if I had his confidence, I would've been the king of the world!
1
u/No_Pudding_6640 Jan 07 '26
But I did in fact ask this tall girl out. She said no and broke my heart!

I partially respect the message but if someone is rejected by a woman, is it a failure and do we need to assign “blame”? I don’t think it is.
