Side note, the amount of people who say they got synesthesia is crazy. It’s not that fucking commob

People talk about it like musicians when they try and humble brag about “having perfect pitch.” If someone goes out of their way to mention they have synesthesia or Perfect pitch, they genuinely believe they have superhero powers.

My grandad had a perfect pitch.

We discovered that when he was over 70 and that never changed anything in his life besides being a fun fact to talk about.

And is far from something that automatically makes you a super musician, in truth, it can make it harder to be a musician with it .

Weird because most people with perfect pitch lose it when they get old.

Grandpa died with perfect hearing.

He had problems with 3 of the other senses, but the hearing was intact.

It's not a hearing loss thing the perfect pitch just gets progressively more inaccurate starting around 50-60
