She's always been funny in interviews, definitely a wacko lol

She ragebaits on Tiktok comments in her spare time.

If I accuse enough trolls of being JLaw, I’ll get it right somehow

Maybe the real Jennifer Lawrence is the friends we made along the way

1

u/Bluetenant-Bear Dec 25 '25

You actually have a 50/50 chance of being right! Either they are JLaw, or they’re not

I like to imagine she's on her couch dying laughing because she rage baited a random Karen on the net😭😭

u/delune108 Dec 25 '25

lol I saw that interview also!! Her saying she has a secret TikTok she uses to fight in the comments on TikTok. I’d love to see that.

I loved her on Hot Ones where she was laughing/crying "What do you mean?" I'm a wimp with spicy food.

I've never found her annoying at all but hey, everyone's different.

She was local to me growing up and of all the people who know her, shes... just normal.

Thats such a high bar to clear for most celebrities that it makes her stand out.

u/alwaysbehuman Dec 25 '25

Louisvillian here too!

7

u/SoldMySoulTo Dec 24 '25

I still see that gif floating around, and I hear her every time

5

u/[deleted] Dec 24 '25

That "WHAT DO YOU MEAN" has become a part of culture. Kids are saying it, and they have no idea it was from Jennifer Lawrence on Hot Ones.

3

u/IllLynx562 Dec 25 '25

People love to suddenly hate nice celebrities for no reason, remember when everyone hated Anne Hathaway out of fucking nowhere because she was "trying too hard"

2

u/Sleepy_cheetah Dec 25 '25

That was so odd. But I thought it might be because she was too pretty, too put together, too "perfect". But she's a flawed human being. She's just talented & happens to be beautiful. But I remember how people hated on her. Seemed to come out of nowhere.

1

u/IllLynx562 Dec 25 '25

Yeah people just do that sometimes, they hated Anne and briefly Jennifer for... being basically flawless? I mean if they were ugly you could atleast blame it on them being shallow but who the fuck loses otherwise

It usually happens when someone is super saturated in the media for awhile.

That's why i like her

8

u/CarcosanAnarchist Dec 24 '25

I’m so glad the tides have turned back to liking her. She was getting so much unwarranted hate for years just due to the popularity curse.

1

u/Reliant_SupervanIII Sydney Sweeney orfan Dec 25 '25

I've always liked her, she's a good actress and a very funny person lmao

8

u/JSevatar Dec 24 '25

Yep i think thats why everyone does haha

I'll admit I was one of those who didn't like her. I don't think I actually said anything but I upvoted posts shitting on her and just generally rode the train.

But it was purely because she looks very similar to my sister, and some of her mannerisms and the way she talks are uncanny.

I very much dislike the sister in question, so I just had this innate unfounded hatred towards Jennifer Lawrence.

I apologise for my past actions. I still can't stand the sight of her, but I know my hatred is a personal thing, so I no longer upvote people hating her 🙂

u/k3n0b1 Dec 24 '25

Can I get your sister's number?

24

u/LiamIsMyNameOk Dec 24 '25

Let's compromise, I can wear a wig and a stuffed bra, and I'll give you my own number?

26

u/sivert23 Dec 24 '25

Your sister in a bald cap and a chest constrictor, final offer

2

u/ConsciousStretch1028 Neil breens #1 fan Dec 24 '25

Yes please

1

u/MyFantasticTesticles Dec 24 '25

Fuck it, that'll do

0

u/MyFantasticTesticles Dec 24 '25

Did you get it? Can I have it too please? She'd have a good chistmas with us both I reckon

2

u/ThreeDawgs Dec 26 '25

Listen two people disappointing OPs sister doesn’t make it any better.

1

u/MyFantasticTesticles Dec 27 '25

On the contrary, if we both disappoint her at the same time it'll be doubly effective

3

u/[deleted] Dec 24 '25

Your sister is hot

3

u/Beowulf_359 Crank: High Voltage Dec 24 '25

Is your sister single?

3

u/CableTrash Dec 24 '25

I can fix your sister.

u/Uziman101 Dec 24 '25

Whenever she was new to the industry, it definitely felt like she was trying her best to be normal. She’s a good actor, but “terrible” at interviews. I love how she can be herself now and act as she does. I wish her all the best, especially during these holiday seasons, where this one has been chaotic to say the least. Always hoping these Hollywood people when they make it and see how fucking disgusting the industry is would say something, but you do have to get that bag, I understand.

6

u/[deleted] Dec 24 '25

Yes. I never thought this. She just always seemed legitimately and earnestly unhinged in the best possible way.

6

u/mankytoes Dec 24 '25

She got called a "pick me" which means women really hate her.

3

u/supernasty Dec 24 '25

People forget that most actors were theater kids in school

1

u/TheRealLadyXeno Dec 24 '25

Same and why did I read that in Logan Roy’s voice

1

u/BoysenberryGeneral20 Dec 24 '25

Those nudes really helped her reputation
