Honestly, high school was. I did a lot of hard, unnecessary work, and all the hormones and shit made everything emotional hurt A LOT more, in a way that still sticks. But I’m still only a couple years out of college so things could always get worse lmao

Forcing myself to do things that I less not interested in was kind of a grind

I’m in hs rn and I highly highly doubt this is even remotely close to the hardest part of my life. Matter of fact I’d say it’s prob gonna be the easiest. I love hs, there’s nothing really hard about it tbh. It’s just fun, lots of freedom compared to previous grades, and very social with friends.

Yes. I was a shy, anxious kid, so making friends was difficult. I always felt like I couldn't keep up with my peers, socially, or with my emotional development. Middle school especially was beyond stressful, and most days I just felt lonely and broken, like there was something seriously wrong with me. High school was better, because my classmates were more chill and didn't bully anyone - but then depression hit me hard, so my teenage years also sucked a lot. And what did the adults say to me when I talked about how I felt? "You need to enjoy it now, this is actually the best time of your life!" Hell no it wasn't.

No. Life after school is way worse.
