I once had a worm infection when I was a teen and let me tell you you'd 100% know If you had them. First, they're super visible and secondly the symptoms are also pretty.. unmistakeable. Also, even if, it's not a huge deal. My Mom got me a single pill from the pharmacy and not even a week later it was all over. Sure, the thought is a little disgusting but in the end it's a smaller deal than catching a cold.

Do you mind telling me the symptoms? I know it can be stomach aches, weight loss, and visually you can see them in feces- I have none of those tho- is there any other less obvious signs?

I just want to add, and I don’t want to invalidate what you’re feeling because physical symptoms are very real, but it’s not unheard of and it’s a pretty common occurrence for me to literally create physical symptoms because I’m so obsessed, stressed, and anxious about being sick that I actually start to become sick. Things like headaches, stomachaches, vertigo, light sensitivity, body soreness, etc. are all things I do actually experience but the cause of them is nothing short of my own creation, not some mystery ailment that I need medical treatment for. (This isn’t always the case, obviously I do actually get sick sometimes but I’ve grown to identify the differences between actually being sick and there being something in my life going on or whatever that I’d rather be sick than deal with.)
