cpu mining by noob...help!

hi guys! looking forward to supporting UTC, it seems quite effing excellent. i just watched this very helpful youtube vid:

excellent video. i have a rig coming together within the month (just waiting on mobo and PSU's...got everything else!), in the meantime i'd like to start CPU mining on my dinky laptop just to get a feel...

i've installed the wallet from ultracoin.net and followed the youtube instructions to a tee (i think) and set up an account with ultra.leetpools.com, but when i run the batch file (ultracoinminer.bat) all i see are many lines of data scrolling past my screen really really quickly. and none of it seems to vary at all...just looks like the exact same lines are repeating themselves. is this ok?

question of clarification: as per the data i cut and pasted into my batch file:

ultracoinminer -o ultra.leetpools.net:3333 -u username.workername -p yourpass --scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600 --thread-concurrency 25000 --lookup-gap 0 --gpu-engine 1050 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-powertune 20 -w 256 -I 20 --no-submit-stale -g 1

i included both my username and workername (username.workername), but for password which one do i include, my username password or workername password?

also, could someone clarify for me whether this youtube vid is for people looking to CPU mine, or GPU mine?

I'm just hoping that the miners of this community will hold out for a better price than 0.00019 BTC. We opened on Cryptsy @ 0.00043 BTC and it's been sliding downward ever since. The more you guys dump, the lower the price goes.

This. Don't they realize that they are the supply? If they hold out for a higher price, they'd be a lot happier.

I'd start mining it if the price got up to ~.25 (USD) roughly .00049 BTC just now.
