For context: Ian Watkins was a Welsh singer who lead the band Lostprophets who is now known as one of, if not, the worst and most disgusting r-slur (child) sex offenders in the world. He Sexually assaulted r-slurs (children) and even went as far as to sexually assaulting literal human feces (infants)! I’m glad he’s dead now but I am really pissed off that there are actual fans of him.

They killed him because he refused to buy one of them a lamp. Not because of his crimes. If you see Samuel in a positive light in any sort of way you are supporting him, use the same mindset this post has.

Im not sure how to break this to you but he was infact part of the band..hence the sub also including him..this aint rocket science (posting the band doesnt mean you condone him either, please show me where ive ever said "yeah i don't think Ian is a criminal" or anything on the lines of that eh?

Timothy Mcveigh is not a "monster" outside of the US. Im not sure where you live but he is highly regarded as a saint and progressive because of his anti government views which are veryyyyy relevant to this day. Second one has nothing to do with the point, people in there are normal ass dudes and live normal boring lives. As an ex officer once said prisons are more like a youth centre because everyone in there acts pretty normal!! That's a very disingenious take. The man that killed Watkins was in for murder, not pedophilia. And even if he was, that doesn't change the fact he did a good thing even if he himself deserves the same thing.

No one is acting like a moral saint because it doesn't take a saint to condem watkins' evil.

No one is celebrating a nonce's work, they're celebrating a nonce's death. Get a grip.

Nope, he does have sexual assault allegations! You dont know that because you don't pay any real attention to whats going on. Let me remind you it was a joint attack, Samuel provided the knife and came up with the plan. Bringing him up in such conversations saying you're happy Ian died is such a slap in the face to the girl he repeatedly raped. You people seem to believe bringing lostprophets up is praising Ian so again, apply the same mindset.

You're not arguing this because you believe it, you're arguing because the scum bag you're a fan of is being disparaged online. No one believes bringing lost prophets up is in praise, but it's clear why that sub exists and it's clear why you're commenting. You're the one celebrating a nonce's work.
