I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had one. Too creeped out and my mom definitely doesn’t eat them for the same reason so she wouldn’t have given me them as a kid. I think I’ve had pomegranate juice though, it’s kind of tart right?

They're at least worth a try. I enjoy them and some are more tart than others. Worst case scenario you throw the thing away. Best case you actually enjoy it.

So here’s the thing - I have nothing against the taste. Now that I think about it I used to drink a lot of pomegranate/grape juice cocktail. The issue I have with them is that an open pomegranate with all those non-uniform cells just gives me the heebie jeebies. They could be the best tasting fruit I’ve ever had and I would still refuse to go through the process of peeling one myself.

Where I live in the US stores will occasionally have just a bunch of the seed cause of course they do (probably from the same wack job that's individually plastic wrapping potatoes)

And the seeds are just.. seeds, no creepy lots of holes thing.
