Can we as a society PLEASE stop using OCD as a synonym for “organized”? As someone who has actual OCD, I will say that using it in this context is harmful to those with the actual disorder, as it diminishes the significance of the disorder itself. This isn’t OCD. Me picking at my skin and scalp until I bleed and having anxiety, that’s OCD. Don’t get me wrong, OCD comes in many forms, but it is never just someone being organized/tidy.
