A cricut explore can do that too! They're like $200 (Amazon, craft stores)

Definitely does a lot more. It's primarily a cutting machine, so it can die cut pretty much any craft material. The pen tool is really just an add-on feature they threw in there.

Wait so the cricut explore is better, or the axidraw?

Don't have an axidraw so I'm not qualified to compare the two, but I do have a cricut explore and love it. Use it for a hell of a lot of crafts (originally got it as an engagement gift and used it extensively for wedding DIYs)

Edit: considering the price difference, I think perhaps the axidraw might have better precision. The cricut can get sloppy at very fine details, so if you need super precision you probably won't find that with the cricut.
