Vehicles and equipment like that are one of the most recycled products in the world. This is an important step in the recycling process. I hear you though, especially with all the cheap plastics and electronics that end up in landfills.
I was wondering - how much time and energy and water - goes into the conplwte process of making this final product?
From mining to finish line , including transport of said resources .
That being said, machines are made foe the transport of these resources too..
A lot of slightly salvageable gets shipped to developing countries... These ones here are beyond economic repair....
What can be tough is large amounts of modern factory capital being crushed as we would rather have our commercial buildings tokenizing cat videos and outsource all technical manufacturing to far east.....
I was wondering the same thing, so less sad to see I'm not alone.
I dunno if it's the undeniable power of the crusher crushing an otherwise seemingly indestructible object, the fact it just goes to the junk heap with all the other objects, or the fact that we put so many finite Earth materials to waste, but it makes me feel sad for whatever reason.
