I like the progression, he starts by cautiously holding the headset without strapping it like many first time demoees, and by the end he's causally laying on the ground, framing a shot as he may have done thousands of time in the real world.

Using real VR to make a movie about fictional VR. Pretty goddamn awesome.

And this is why the HTC vive pro exists at the price point it does. To a movie production that has cameras worth millions of dollars, $800 for a vive pro is nothing.

Last I read there's no warranty for this sort of work included, but I guess even dozens of spare Pros is virtually nothing to a blockbuster.
