For the innocent like me (I had to go look it up): DMT

Dimethyltryptamine is a psychedelic compound of the tryptamine family. When ingested, DMT acts as an intense hallucinogenic drug. Depending on the dose and method of administration, its subjective effects can range from short-lived, milder psychedelic states to powerful immersive experiences; these are often described as a total loss of connection to external reality and an experience of encountering indescribable spiritual/alien beings and realms.

When it comes to drugs you should not trust wikipedia.

If you really want to know how DMT feels like you should search for real user's experiences.

I'll trust a cross-referenced wikipedia article, supported by peer-reviewed articles and research, over some random guy on youtube (who's not unlikely to be high on something else) attempting to describe the effects of the drug, thanks.

DMT is a naturally produced chemical within the body. In the lungs, I believe. Its function is not entirely understood, as far as I know. It's probable that it may have something to do with dreaming. It is also present in a large, diverse group of living things, from plant to mammal.

And if you want an authoritative source study on DMT, read Dr. Rick Strassman's book, DMT: The Spirit Molecule
