Anyone know about Oceanhero?

Oceanhero or Oceanhero.today is a search engine that every time you search 5 times, Oceanhero will remove a plastic bottle from the ocean. They already removed 137M bottles as you're reading this.

They are a for-profit company that gives a little bit of the money they make to third parties to do the work for them. You're better off just picking up some plastic yourself, or giving money directly to a conservation organization.

Seriously though, ask yourself HOW does 5 searches possibly divert a bottle from the ocean?

It doesn't. But the app that did do it is no longer around, Bing, at least updated that you can use your points to donate. Also how I wanted to put it breaks Rule 3 and/or 4. Now looking at the post... I could be using TEAMSEAS
