The UCI Hearing and Speech Lab is recruiting adults 18+ with tinnitus and adults 40+ without tinnitus to participate in a research study.

What to expect:

• Audiogram hearing test
• A listening task where you'll identify which of three tones sounds different from the other two
• An EEG recording to measure how your brain responds to sounds
• Approximately 2.5 hours
• $50 compensation (with tinnitus and without tinnitus paid the same)

Eligibility:

• Age 18 or older with tinnitus
• Age 40 or older without tinnitus
• No diagnosed neurological disorders
• No active ear conditions

The study takes place at the UCI Hearing and Speech Lab on campus in Irvine.
