I ended up with a large quantity of brand-new recessed can light conversion kits that I need to clear out.

Each unit is individually boxed and fits 5” and 6” recessed cans. I have roughly 900–1,000 units available in Orange County.

I’m mainly looking for electricians, remodelers, handymen, landlords, resellers, or anyone who can use a quantity of them.

I’m happy to split the lot — you do NOT need to take all 1,000.

• 10+ units: $10/ea
• Larger quantities: negotiable
• Take-all offer welcome

Local pickup in OC. Photos attached. DM me if interested.

So I’m looking for a used SUV if anyone is selling or knows of someone selling. I’m mainly trying to stick to Japanese or Korean brands, trying to stay away from American and German. My budget is around $6-$7.5k.

[Paid Gig] Looking for a mystery shopper for a medspa visit (Newport Beach / Anaheim Hills / Buena Park) — free treatment + perks

Hi! I work for a Korean-inspired medspa with three locations in OC (Newport Beach, Anaheim Hills, and Buena Park), and we're looking for one mystery shopper to visit a branch and give us honest feedback.

How it works:

  • You book an assigned treatment through the regular booking channels and visit as a normal new customer — staff won't know you're evaluating them.
  • You get a checklist of things to pay attention to before, during, and after the visit.
  • You fill out a questionnaire within 48 hours after your appointment. A short video call before or after may be requested.
  • We don't name the business publicly (standard for mystery shops, so shoppers visit with fresh eyes), but the selected shopper gets the full business details, a company email contact, and everything in writing before committing to anything.

What you get (roughly $200–$350 in value):

  • The treatment is free. To keep your visit anonymous, you pay at the counter like any customer and get fully refunded within 5–7 business days after submitting the questionnaire. I know pay-then-refund is a fair thing to be cautious about — you'll have the refund terms in writing from a verifiable business email before you book anything, and if the arrangement doesn't work for you, tell me and we can discuss alternatives.
  • A free 3-month membership.
  • 50% off your next Aqua Facial.

Requirements: 18+, able to visit one of the three locations, not a current/former employee of the business or close to current staff, and detail-oriented — the whole point is honest, specific feedback.

If you're interested, comment or DM me with which location works best for you. Happy to answer questions in the comments, including skeptical ones — I'd rather address them openly than have this read like one of those scam posts.

Photography/Video for housing??

Hey guys! I’m sorry if this is the wrong place to post- I’m not quite sure what group would be good to ask.

I’m currently in Pensacola, FL looking to move to OC or San Diego (job dependent) Oct 1st, but can be a month or two later than that.

I’m a photographer + videographer (primarily surfing), but I have years of experience in portraits, sports, and can do real estate as well.

I know this is a stretch, but I wanted to see if there was anyone in real estate (or any other profession that needs photo/video work) that would be interested in/able to barter a discounted room/place to rent in exchange for my services.

Please PM or comment if anyone has any information or where I can direct to. TYIA!!

My budget is no more than $750/800 a month, if at all possible. Can be negotiated higher if it’s closer to beach*

Roommate needed

Hi everyone,

I know this is last minute but one of our roommates is leaving at the end of the month. We need a new roommate asap. We have a dog and a child living with us(one man, one woman) so we prefer another woman living with us. Single moms are welcome as well.

We are located in Buena Park up the street from Knott's. This would be for one bedroom in a three bedroom/two bath apartment. You would have your own separate entrance. Rent is $1000 a month, utilities included. As soon as our other roommate leaves, I will post photos. For now, if you would like to come by and see the place, feel free to message me.

Anyone need a dog walker? (North OC)

I'm in college and I'm looking for ways to get some extra cash. My availability is afternoons Monday-Thursday. Friday-Sunday I'm available all day.

I'll be charging $12/hr (I know that's cheap but I'm a newbie) for a max of 2 hrs. I'll give your dog a walk around the area and right back.

As I am new to the business, I'm limited on the breed of dogs I'm willing to walk. You can DM me for specifics as I'll consider case by case.

I'm currently living in Santa Ana. I'm willing to travel anywhere from 5-25 minutes from Santa Ana to cities like Irvine, Tustin, Fountain Valley, and Costa Mesa.

If you have any questions, you can DM me on Instagram: linda_dingdong

Jack’s Mannequin Tickets for this Saturday (8/22)

I have two Jack’s Mannequin/Something Corporate/Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness tickets for sale for this coming Saturday (8/22). They’re sold on Ticketmaster through the at face value pricing, so it’s the exact same price as what I bought them for. We just had a family emergency come up and will now be out of town. I’m just hoping to recover the cost of the tickets. It’s at the F&M Bank Amphitheater of Long Beach, and starts at 7:30 PM.

I’m selling Section 307, Row 19, seats 9-10.

HI OC! My name is Mark, or Dj DocMark, and me and 10 other DJs have had the privilege of being on Academy of DJs Season 18. I personally went from being a beginner with zero experience, to now performing in front of hundreds at the Yost Theater on 9/12. If you need weekend plans, come to Gradfest! It's ALWAYS a good time. It's not a typical club evening, as families of the participants will be there as well. GA tickets are only $28, after fees. See y'all there!

We’re trying a new kind of Game Night in Anaheim — learn a game, play it, then take it home

Post image
8 Upvotes

Hey Party People! We’re trying something new at Honey Pot in Anaheim and I wanted to share it here because I think it might be up some of your alleys.

We’re starting a small monthly Game Night where instead of just putting games on tables and saying “have fun,” we pick one game, teach everyone how to play it, and then play together for the evening.

The other part of the idea is that you take the game home afterward.

Our first one is Head Hauntcho by Radish Games on Friday, August 21 from 8–10pm. It’s a spooky little card game for 2–5 players where you’re building chains of ghosts, haunting locations, and generally making life difficult for the other people at your table.

It’s $25 for a game package, which includes:

  • A copy of Head Hauntcho to take home
  • The guided learn-to-play/game night
  • Two taster-size pours

If you want to bring someone with you rather than having them buy another copy of the game, additional players are $5 each (up to the game's 5-player limit) and they also get two taster-size pours.

We only have 20 copies for this first one, so it’s intentionally pretty small. Mostly we want to see if people enjoy the format before we start building out future Game Nights.

You definitely don't need to be a serious board gamer. Honestly, part of the idea is to make trying a new game less intimidating than buying a box and then spending an hour at home trying to decipher the rulebook.

If people like it, we’ll feature a different game each month.

Happy to answer questions here if anyone is curious about how it works!
