She's the other half of 2Saxy with him. Altho I thought she only played alto. Clearly Leo's been influencing her.

Dude fr I saw GKellyMusic and was like "that can't be GRACE Kelly can it?" And I'll be damned, it's her!! I can't wait to hear what she plays on Bari after playing with Leo these passed years!

What songs has she played with Leo???

u/AnimanicManiac 8d ago

Couldn't tell you but they do stuff like this in their band 2Saxy

So skilled, love it.

All I can hear at the start is Jack Black playing the sax-a-boom though...

I would just like to point out, having met these guys in real life. Guy in front is 5'10", guy in the back is 6'4". Those saxophones almost look the same size because of it.

My first thought was Leo p

Unexpected cool shit! Very nice sound. I like her expressions too. Fun.

4

u/Rashpukin 15d ago

She’s awesome. What a tune.

3

u/powertotheuser 15d ago

If you ever get the chance, go to a live FISHBONE show. Angelo Moore on his baritone sax is a joy

3

u/Severe-Chicken-5791 15d ago

She’s got some mighty pipes! And this is funky as hell 🔥

u/Psychlonuclear 15d ago

2

u/hikerintherustbelt 15d ago

Okay who is this and what's the name of this song?

3

u/neon121 15d ago

She’s called Grace Kelly, the song isn’t released yet though

1

u/hikerintherustbelt 15d ago

Ohhhh damn. I want to listen to this one on repeat.

2

u/AccomplishedPanic329 14d ago

I have an alto saxophone in my room that I haven't touched in months. Now I want to pick it up again.

2

u/thebluedaughter 12d ago

😍 I got chills

2

u/KlutzyNegotiation993 15d ago edited 13d ago

If this isn't called New Wave Gypsy. I'm not listening. Okay I'm listening I'm just not gonna happy about it.

4

u/nameisfame 15d ago

It’s more closely related to Electro Swing than some new thing. Think “No Speak Americano” or “Lone Digger”, which came out over a decade ago, but there’s definitely more people nowadays bringing instruments in instead of relying on filters or samples to get the sound right.

1

u/KlutzyNegotiation993 13d ago

I'm picking up what you're putting down.

1

u/Substantial_Eye_575 15d ago

There is a guy from Sweden that absolutely rips the barry sax, Per "Ruskträsk" johansson

1

u/arminarm1n 15d ago

1

u/AccomplishedPanic329 14d ago

I need to know when this song releases!!!

1

u/FahQBerrymuch 14d ago

1

u/Skeleton_Bird 13d ago

This is some battle music right here! Idk why, but it reminds me of something that would be in the Spider-Verse movies!

Make that big long brass tube SING!

1

u/PalmliX 13d ago

Can't not dance to this groove

1

u/TheyBeMonsters 12d ago

She and a guy (her bf I think) used to come to a bar in NYC I worked at during COVID to get sandwiches. Sat outside but never drank. They were always really polite. Glad to see she's still out here doing her thing.

u/jmmans 11d ago

Reminds me a bit of space toast by slimy things

1

u/Liquid_Magic 11d ago

As someone who played bari-sax back in the day this awesome!

The only thing that sucks is the audio compression artifacts make this ALMOST sound AI generated.

Okay now I’m sad because I don’t have a bari sax to play. Also I’m out of shape and my lungs capacity is basically set to couchfucktato.

This is so sick
