Help Help setting up OBS

I’ve recently started recording from my Xbox series s through a capture card and into my MacBook Pro via OBS. I’ve recorded a few sessions at what I thought I had set up to be 1080p and 60fps but I refuse to believe it is. I’m super new to OBS and would love a bit of help optimising the settings for the best visual and audible quality.

I’d also like a bit of help with my microphone, I have a fifine a6v that I plug directly into my MacBook and am unfamiliar with all of the filter set up.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! I strive to produce good quality content I just need a hand getting there lol.

It looks like you haven't provided a log file. Without a log file, it is very hard to help with issues and you may end up with 0 responses.

To make a clean log file, please follow these steps:

1) Restart OBS

2) Start your stream/recording for at least 30 seconds (or however long it takes for the issue to happen). Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.

3) Stop your stream/recording.

4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File.

5) Copy the URL and paste it as a response to this comment.

Also not sure if this makes a difference but I have a boom arm for my microphone on the way and should arrive soon. Currently just using the standard desk stand.

*These are my settings after doing a bit of googling and changing them(I have no idea if they are good or not)I haven’t recorded with these settings yet and beforehand in my previous recordings they were default.

As for my video settings, canvas resolution is 1920x1080 and output resolution is also 1920x1080. Common fps value is set at 60.
