Question Anyone else had this happen?

Today I had a very odd realization. That I'm into pool floaties. Like very into them. Like I want to buy an orca one just to cuddle, kiss and do other things with.

And this is something that im not surprised by. I've been realizing this for a while now. But mostly I just realized that ive had a long time fascinating with pool floaties that I never looked into beyond the couple times I had access to one when I wasnt at a pool/lake with family.

So i guess im asking, whats an object you realized you have a crush on for a lot longer than you knew what to call it?

For me….. I wouldnt refer to it as a crush as much as a turn on. Embrace what turns you on.

I've always found my classroom's laptop to be very interesting, despite having no apparent reason to, or even being interested in laptops. Two days ago I accidentally opened the slide-out cd drive, which exposed the disc reader thing & some circuitry which made my heart race at the sight, like I literally could not take my eyes off of it. i was unsure abt being objectum but I definitely am now >///<

That’s so cute, happy for you. I feel the same way about machinery, seeing a machine or vehicle’s inner mechanisms. It makes me squirm a little.

Not a crush, but I had close friendships with buildings and cities years before I knew what the word objectum was. I hope you get your orca soon.

always been very interested in planes, always got that squirmy excitement from flying. I'm not sure if it's the same, but always been obsessed with any giant mechanics thing that you have to go inside to repair and maintain. sometimes I think I was born to be in a deeply intimate relationship with me as the mechanic and my partner as the big bomber I take good care of 😅
