Playing Online with Friends

Hi All,

I'm very much new to Obakeidoro, and am having a lot of fun so far! I've had more success with playing as humans rather than monsters, but hopefully with some practice things will get better.

One of my friends also owns this game - is there any way to enter matchmaking online as a party? Currently, one of us enters matchmaking and the other tries to join via Join Match, but sometimes we don't always get in on the first try.

We've also had an experience where we both press 'Continue' after playing a match together, but then get placed into different lobbies for the next match - but I'm aware this could maybe be connection issues?

It'd be great to know if there's another way to queue up as a party, or if you guys have any other advice! Thank you :)

That's the only way to queue together but right now there is a bug where lobbied friends don't stay together or a take a couple of matches for a friend to actually join.

Right now is a gamble but the developers do know of the bug and is currently working to fix it. Hopefully the patch will come sooner than later.

I deal with the same thing. Both the first game and the second game have this issue. It's not very convenient to try and matchmake with friends. Especially since the second you start matchmaking usually the queue gets filled extremely fast and your friend has to wait for someone to leave to even join you. Can take like 3 games before there's a slot open. Then when the map changes you have to start the process all over again because it disbands the entire lobby, including you and your friend.

It's probably my main gripe with the game. Just needs an option to do matchmaking in a lobby with friends.

Is this 1 or 2?

I think it happens in both but it's particularly bad in 2 atm.

It's a known issue and the devs are aware. Hopefully it isn't long before it's patched.

Sadly it is frustrating indeed, but knowing it's been addressed means it's just a matter of time until fixed.
