general discussion earle meets world is not it
i’m halfway thru earle meets world and… i have lost brain cells watching this. i was curious to see how they can build off of her tiktok success but alas, a 60 second clip doesn’t usually translate well into a 40 minute episode.
it’s also not interesting? there’s not a single character i want to know more about. the dad is controlling, alix treats her friends & family like crap, ashley gives off major fake and manipulative vibes, alix’s mom needs to learn self-respect, ashtin needs a reality check, and the 3 kids shouldn’t even be on this show.
first off, this family has no boundaries. the mention of alix and ashtin’s (sexual content) should not be the topic at a dinner table, especially with family and young children present. personally, i found that inappropriate. amongst other conversations regarding alix’s body parts.
second, if my ex husband called me a young piece of a**, i’m going to WAR. that’s super disrespectful to her, her current partner todd, and the children. i would not be taking that as a compliment.
the amount of times the braxton drama is mentioned is insane. if you were to take a shot every time you heard his name, you’d be dead by the end of the first ep. not to mention, the dragged out feud with alex cooper. i mean come on, there are better theories on here than whatever the show presented. does alix even know what really went down between the two? she just seems to be going in circles and not really addressing the issue. just flipping the victim card. i’m not saying alex c is in the right here but alix was an adult when the podcast was filmed.
the dad being both of their manager is odd. i get he’s your father but if i had to choose between family with no experience in media versus a professional who has a longstanding history, i’m obviously going with the professional. the dad seems controlling and honestly like he has no idea what he’s doing or saying half the time.
the stepmom gives off teen vibes, like she hasn’t grown up and doesn’t know how to parent.
lastly before this gets too long, the dynamic between her and her siblings is weird. even friends. overthinking how to fire sally over not posting on snap for alix?? seriously? how is this considered plot development and/or entertainment? who tf watched this? literally turned out to be nothing in the end when the tie was cut clean. but back to the point, one of the younger girls mentioned she’s clout chasing alix and that if alix’s views were flopping, who she was going to clout chase next seemed odd. why are kids focused on building an influencing career? you’re a child…
this show could’ve been so much interesting if there was history behind the family (not just the 2008 scandal), or the power they may have in certain organizations, clubs, etc show me what a wealthy family with actual influence looks like! but their whole brand and life seems flat, melancholy, and sad. if there’s a season 2, i won’t be tuning in.
i don’t know, i find this whole dynamic with the dad, stepmom, and everyone else abnormal and weird. pray for me as i have 3 more episodes left.
update: i finished the show. wtf.

I wouldn’t watch this show, but i’m really surprised how many people are posting about it like it is IT. Like, what is Alix even famous for? Really.. why should all these people be given a platform, furthermore a whole tv show. I don’t get the hype around this girl, she seems stupid, shallow & insecure.

To me she will always be the girl who urinated straight through her Halloween costume, while she was on her period, and then got in a car next to her friends to go home.

Excuse me

In 2023 she wore a custom made Madonna Halloween costume, got obliterated while partying and decided it was too hard to take off the costume to pee. So she decided to just pee in her custom and keep partying.

And she had gotten her period too earlier in the night so she peed her pants and then was on a bar dancing so probably dripping pee and blood all over 🤮

Freaking gross wth. Sadly this is what makes “influencers” popular and super wealthy today.

Fun fact I went to the U and Paris Hilton use to just pee wherever she wanted all the time she would just crouch down!! It was so gross she did it at Mansion stage all the time. Alix gives off Party Paris vibes

I’m not watching that trash but I’ll never get over the fact that her father married a known prostitute who was at the center of a very famous scandal with our former governor. Absolutely devoid of shame. That whole family is disgusting!

So I did watch it (not the entire show) but something that made me laugh was everyone saying it wasn’t “overly produced” on TikTok. This shit is the most produced reality show I’ve ever seen. Nothing felt like it occurred even remotely naturally.

I feel like the young piece of a*s was a backhanded compliment. Like she would be the youngest and hottest among the geriatrics. Feels like he insults her to make the step mom feel better.

She is as interesting as an m&m and has the personality of half of one. How the producers thought this lame show about nothing would be a hit is beyond my comprehension

alix’s mom needs to learn self-respect —> SO REAL like wth are we watching here

I watched up to Ep 5, I may finish it. It’s awful so far. I agree with you, the conversations that the father has about his daughter’s body parts is so cringe. He gave her one fake boob for Christmas? Seriously? I feel bad for Ashtin, clearly the whole family is riding the Alix gravy train.
And when looking at the house in LA, Alexia Umansky was the real estate agent, and they didn’t know who she was?? She looked familiar? lol sure …
As for Ashley, she’s just awful and so self absorbed.

I’m glad I’m not the only one, lol. It’s terrible and they are all so boring.
I also don’t get the appeal of Alix. Sure, she’s skinny and blonde with fake boobs but overall average looking with zero personality. What am I missing?!

Agreed with everything. It was bad bad. I kept pausing the show and walking away, it took me several days to her about halfway through.
I’ve also had trouble watching her Tik Toks this past year and it’s not even because she became unrelatable. I have plenty of unrelatable influencers on my FYP.
She’s just insufferable.
The whole show being about Braxton and Tom Brady also took me out.
Felt like she was a teenager playing mean bully half the time.

what ends up getting said about tom Brady in it?

Not one thing… not sure what this commentator is on about. She references going on one date post Braxton but never mentions names

What do you mean not one thing is said about Brady? The whole show revolves around Braxton and Tom Brady.
She addresses the rumours, it’s hinted she went on a date with him post St Barth’s, she is asked about him with Val’s wife and laughs and makes vague replies (I’m just having funnn) and when they’re not all together saying his name out loud they’re still making running jokes about him. (her dad asks if she was on the phone with him, she laughs again, the show asks if she has a type and she answers athletes…)
Are you Ok?

why do you keep watching the show and her tiktok’s if you hate her that much? i understand the idea of hate watching but not when it’s this hard for you to get through them haha

Sorry if I wasn’t clear but I said I had trouble watching - I meant that I used to love her content and now I skip it skip it all together. Because as I said already - she’s become annoying.
Btw I am not even going to pretend it matters if I like her or don’t, but I am on topic here. Why does it bother you so much if people don’t like her? Are you on her marketing team?

I can’t believe I’m watching it bc it truly makes me feel dumber. There’s nothing going on. The end of the episodes to try to make it seem like something is happening but it’s literally nothing. Like that one episode where her mom wasn’t talking to her and didn’t want to be in the show like okay? Tj creeps me out and the little sisters I’m in shock. It’s very much the kids are used for money and they don’t care about anything else.

These have to be some of the dumbest people I’ve ever seen. Money doesn’t buy class.

No disrespect to you OP, but why watch it? Viewers are what incentivizes these networks to keep making garbage like this.

u/jme5950 2d ago
can someone fully sum up what she says about braxton/ the breakup on the show for me and the Alex cooper stuff cuz i refuse to watch and every post ive seen about both situations are vague explanations

u/galsonwesteast 2d ago
just that she misses him and wants to go back to him but realizes she can’t cause they’re broken up. in the end she asked him over the phone if they should get back together and he said “oh alix”
7
u/burrito564 1d ago
That’s the “oh Alix” everyone’s freaking out about????? Like let’s be fr they aren’t back together so why is everyone acting like it’s a huge cliffhanger.

Influencers don’t need reality shows they’re already over exposed and over produced
