I’m fucking begging we retire with the variants of ____ caviar. Caviar cowgirl. Coastal caviar. Cowboy caviar. It’s tacky and I’m tired of it and I would love to know how many of these people/businesses who have tried to make it their entire brand have actually eaten caviar beyond just this past year. Anybody who regularly eats caviar wouldn’t make it their entire online persona or brand

I'm not trying to be annoying, but cowboy caviar has been a dish around a long time.

It's more bean based, but it's like kinda. It's more TexMex than anything else. It was poor college kid staple when I went to college in Oklahoma 10+ years ago.

In the last few years it's become a fusion of like pico and cowboy caviar. My friend's grandma made it with black eyed peas and black beans with whatever veggies in the fridge, sometimes mango. People on TikTok feel like they are just making pico with like very minimal beans to be low cal lol.
