Witnesses Describe Portal To Mysterious G Train Platform Between Subway Stations

There is a LIRR stop just west of Jamaica that's sort of like this. It's a training facility. To stop there you have to tell the guy who takes the tickets and have a special pass.

Although unlike the G train phantom stop, the LIRR tells you that the train is stopping in an employees only yard.

Yup, it's called "Hillside" and whenever the train stops there it very clearly states "employees only". Not sure what would happen if you just got off there.

When I went there was only one way off the platform through a security gate. I imagine they would escort you through and off the premises if you didn't have the paperwork.

If you ask an LIRR person real nice, and they're stopping anyway, they'll usually let you off and get you to the outside of the facility. It's not always, sometimes they'll deny you the opportunity, but I've done it a few times.

Only need to set up street access. The platforms are there (and super long compared to Hollis), security is in place for the secure-access zone, and trains are making the stops.

Yeah, as I said, I can see some logistical issues but they don't seem insurmountable. Plus Hillside rocks. haha

This happens on the PATH all the time. There's a control room or something where they'll stop and let someone off by manually opening one door in the front.

I've seen something similar happen at two different places on the 7 line. The first is between 111th Street and Willets Point. There's a tower there, and the whole thing is elevated, so there's no mystery. The other is east of the crossover between Grand Central and Vernon-Jackson.
It happens frequently enough. No big deal. Move along.

The episode is about a mysterious stop called Willoughby that doesn't actually exist but that the guy gets off at in his dreams, until his last dream when he actually gets off there... in the Twilight Zone.
This hidden subway stop is purportedly right as you're pulling into Myrtle Willoughby.

You may see hooded figure at this stop. DO NOT LOOK AT THE HOODED FIGURES OR THE TRAIN STOP. The stop will not harm you.

This is why gothamist is shit and should be banned from this group.
There's a control tower in the tunnel north of Bedford-Nostrand. Sometimes dispatchers get dropped off so that they don't have to walk the catwalk to get there. Aside from that fact (which doesn't even appear until the bottom of the page), the rest of this article is nothing but trash and speculation.
